Reflection to Draft #2 of Research Paper

I started revising my first draft by first going to the tutoring center and meeting up with my tutor. She read and it and helped me develop a stance. Since my topic was too brad and I was not picking a stance, I developed one and started to implicate it in my claims and thesis. I also wrote the keyword and background information paragraph because I was missing it. Since I thought I just had to add that information in the introduction.


            While revising I will keep checking my grammar and content and see if it makes sense. I will also keep sharing my essay to some peers, so I can see my paper in other points of view. I also have to include my interview, the conversation paragraph, the two visual aids and develop more my ideas. I have to also write and revise the abstract to include it in my paper. After that my paper will be complete and ready to submit.

This course helped me transition and learn some techniques for writing at a college level. Coming from high school and english not being my first language, it tends to be difficult for me to write my thoughts and ideas on paper. This English class, the professor's feedback and my tutors assistance helped me learn and write all my papers. Interview: Dark Dreams My topic is about Dream Anxiety Disorder also known as dream anxiety disorder, is a terrifying disorder described by the occurrence of repeated dreams during which the sleeper feels threatened and terrified (Psychology Today). I choose to interview Casey because my professor told me about how Casey experienced this disorder. Dark Dreams Abstract             This paper involves the research on Dream Anxiety Disorder. Dream Anxiety Disorder is a sleep disorder in which the individual experiences constant vivid terrifying dreams. This research points out some of the possible causes, preventions and treatments.
