Reflection to Your Draft #1 of Literacy Narrative

Writing this narrative gave me another perspective on writing because, in the process I noticed the importance of being descriptive by giving details about the topic or story you're writing about. Giving details, affects your writing because it helps with engaging the reader and it makes them imagine the story by having a better understanding of what you’re trying to illustrate.
I've learned that I have to be use different vocabulary when it comes to writing. By using different vocabulary and looking for synonyms, my story won’t sound repetitive or boring. I get my idea or point across but sometimes I write like I speak and it might not look professional. I’ve also noticed that I have to improve my punctuations and start structuring your essays better.

This course helped me transition and learn some techniques for writing at a college level. Coming from high school and english not being my first language, it tends to be difficult for me to write my thoughts and ideas on paper. This English class, the professor's feedback and my tutors assistance helped me learn and write all my papers. At the beginning of class the assignment was to develop a Literacy Narrative about any skill, competence or knowledge one has acquired. Interview: Dark Dreams My topic is about Dream Anxiety Disorder also known as dream anxiety disorder, is a terrifying disorder described by the occurrence of repeated dreams during which the sleeper feels threatened and terrified (Psychology Today). I choose to interview Casey because my professor told me about how Casey experienced this disorder. Caseys information is contributing to my paper because it supports most of my claims.   Question #1. What is Dream Anxiety Disorder? Frequent dreams that bring out strong feelings of fear, terror, distress or anxiety.   Question #2. How would you describe your nightmares? Dark Dreams Abstract             This paper involves the research on Dream Anxiety Disorder. Dream Anxiety Disorder is a sleep disorder in which the individual experiences constant vivid terrifying dreams. This research points out some of the possible causes, preventions and treatments. A personal interview was also conducted to explain and support the claims of this paper.
