Reflection to Interview

At the beginning I contacted various professors and researchers with a psychology major from the school. I emailed a professor and that specialized in research dream and sleep disorders but because I was never available when he was because I had class  I couldn't interview him. The other professor I email told me that he didn't specialized in those disorders and the last one I emailed, I sent her the questions through email after she agreed and never sent me the interview responses back.

After all my professor talked to me briefly about the student from ccny that I emailed. She told me that we could meet after her class or if not to feel free and call her for the interview. We ended up just conducting the interview through email because when she was not busy I was at work and when I was not longer at work she was studying for the midterm. I really enjoy seeing her perspective in this topic and interview someone who is affected by it. It was very interesting reading how nightmares made her feel and how it affects her physically.

This course helped me transition and learn some techniques for writing at a college level. Coming from high school and english not being my first language, it tends to be difficult for me to write my thoughts and ideas on paper. This English class, the professor's feedback and my tutors assistance helped me learn and write all my papers. Interview: Dark Dreams My topic is about Dream Anxiety Disorder also known as dream anxiety disorder, is a terrifying disorder described by the occurrence of repeated dreams during which the sleeper feels threatened and terrified (Psychology Today). I choose to interview Casey because my professor told me about how Casey experienced this disorder. Caseys information is contributing to my paper because it supports most of my claims.   Question #1. What is Dream Anxiety Disorder? Frequent dreams that bring out strong feelings of fear, terror, distress or anxiety.   Question #2. How would you describe your nightmares? Dark Dreams Abstract             This paper involves the research on Dream Anxiety Disorder. Dream Anxiety Disorder is a sleep disorder in which the individual experiences constant vivid terrifying dreams. This research points out some of the possible causes, preventions and treatments. A personal interview was also conducted to explain and support the claims of this paper.
